Four Primary Schools featured in the German Architecture Annual 2019

The German Architecture Annual, published by the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in Frankfurt a.M., keeps track of current architecture throughout Germany. Reviews by notable authors present the shortlist of 22 outstanding buildings in Germany, chosen by the jury for the DAM Preis für Architektur in Deutschland 2019. Our »Four Primary Schools in Modular Design« in Munich are part of the publication.

DAM Preis 2019 Shortlist — Four Primary Schools on display at the Deutsches Architekturmuseum

A special exhibition concerning the award DAM Preis 2019, which prizes outstanding architecture in Germany, is on display in the Deutsches Architekturmuseum. Our Four Primary Schools in Modular Design in Munich are among the 25 shortlisted projects out of a pre-election of 100 buildings.

Our proposal »DREIERLEI« in cooperation with STUDIOPEZ, Basel, has been awarded the 1st Prize. The open and international competition was looking for a project that is surpassingly coherent in terms of its urban layout as its architecture. Furthermore, its function is to ensure that the university is operated both in a contemporary and future-orientated way as well as to be able to cope with ecological and economic standards.

DZNE in Bonn receives BNB certification in Gold!

We are proud to announce that our project DZNE (German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases) in Bonn is the first laboratory building throughout Germany to receive the BNB (evaluation system for sustainable building) certification in »Gold«. The overall degree of fulfillment — 84,1% — corresponds to the final score 1,36. Last week, Steffen Vogt was given the certificate awarded by the Bundesbauministerium (Federal Ministry for Construction).

Hessenwald School featured in exhibition »Große Häuser, kleine Häuser« in the Deutsches Architekturmuseum

The exhibition organized by the BDA State of Hesse presents buildings of different kinds which have been awarded a prize by the BDA Hesse between 2013 and 2018.

The project Hessenwald School in Weiterstadt, finished in 2016, has been awarded by the BDA State of Hesse with the »Joseph-Maria-Olbrich-Plaque for High-Quality Architecture 2018«.

Our proposal for the »Replacement for Building A on the Deutz Campus, TH Köln« has been awarded with the 1st Prize.

The design is to be understood as a reinterpretation of the building site defined in the master plan, in order to create a place that is generically flexible and yet establishes a specific identity, so as to form a space that will, in the future, continue to meet the creative and dynamic needs of a university in a characteristic and high quality manner – and to do so with simple and robust means.

Our project »Trade Fair Hall 10 of Messe Stuttgart« has been published on Baunetz.de. Together with the construction of the Trade Fair Hall 10, which is completing now the southern series of halls, the entrance west has been upgraded and enlarged by a restaurant and a new conference area.
